Count yourself lucky if you live at The Eli.
I am fortunate to have found an apartment and building that I can truly call my home. I've lived here for 10 years and don't ... plan to move. The Art Deco historic building is impeccably maintained and serviced by a devoted maintenance staff. The property manager and her office staff are always attentive to every need and respond very quickly to any request, no matter how small. If there is a problem, they fix it. The gym and basketball court are always very clean, as are the lounge, hallways and lobby. The Concierge staff is helpful, polite, and professional. They watch out for everyone, as does the staff. A Superb Place of Livinig
Elegantly maintained, the Eli Apartment offers magnificent views of my Alma Mater, Yale University. The sitting areas have ... outstanding views that would rival any apartment. Anyone can enjoy exercising in the gym and relaxing in the downstairs lounge. Proximity to outstanding restaurants makes living in the area convenient. What makes this place so special is the extraordinary attention to detail provided by the staff. They all make you feel at home and are both gracious and professional. A Review of Eli
We have recently moved to the country and have made the best choice to stay at The Eli. Its friendly and approachable staff ... have been the best thing about this accommodation. Within the first week of moving into our apartment we had a heater issue. The maintenance staff provided daily support; what was most impressive was their clear and concise dissemination of information about the exact nature of the issue. It put us at ease to know that the issue was taken seriously. We were given portable heaters right away while an expert was brought in to look at the heater. Living at The Eli
We have lived at The Eli for 2 years enjoying the buildings beautiful architecture and views and light from our apartment. ... The building is in the Downtown area of New Haven, right near the Yale Green and a short walk to the campus, restaurants, movie house, shops, theater, and concert halls. Sixteen years and counting
I was one of the first to move into the Eli after the building was converted to residential use--actually, when it was still ... under renovation sixteen years ago. Aside from New Haven, I've lived in New York City and Chicago, among other places and homes, and the Eli rates with the best. The property and facilities are carefully maintained (not always easy to do in an architecturally significant building) and the staff is very responsive. Amazing Apartment
I've lived in the Eli for the last three years and I can't recommend it more highly! The apartments are spacious and bright; ... the staff and managers are incredibly friendly and willing to help with so much. Maintenance is always available day-of (in my experience), and arrives within minutes if it's an emergency. The sun deck is also a great addition and it's great for small gatherings. We love it here!
An easy walk to work, carless access to downtown New Haven, and a classic art deco building in the grand style make this ... excellent residence a perfect choice for in town living. The office staff are thoughtful and prompt in their responses to needs that arise, and the maintenance staff are great!
